Looks like a cold start for the 2019 season, but the store will be open on a limited basis this weekend! We have a plenty of minnows, Canadian night crawlers and fuel in stock for anyone stopping in! Unfortunately the lake is about 10 ft above normal… so, as you can guess, the boat launch is well under water. But no worries yet! The walkway is still usable and many boaters have been able to launch their boats by backing down K Highway. High water seems to be the normal for our patrons on this end of the lake. Our Grand Opening will now be on March 8th due to the weather forecast for this coming weekend.
The Army Corps has reported that Bull Shoals Lake will crest Friday, March 1st, at 668.40. Our average power pool for March should be at 659.00 ft above sea level. The water is Clear and mostly free of debris! The water temp is around 45 to 48 degrees. Great Walleye and Crappie reports are starting to come in! Detailed fishing report coming soon! Stop in and give me your report if your out this weekend! Judy and I look forward to seeing you and your families this year!!!
