Well, that was no the way we wanted to ring in the New Year! We are still dealing with a lot of water being sent our way from Beaver and Table Rock Lakes. Bull Shoals is rising about 1/2 a foot per day making it very difficult to maintain a temporary walkway. K Highway remains open and should be dry for the next couple of weeks depending on rain fall. The lake is 24 ft above normal power pool of 659 ft. Bull Shoals is restricted on water release due to the massive flooding on the Mississippi River. We are very nervous about the storage capacity with all 3 flood control lakes sitting at 68% to 90% full! Lets all hope for a dry spring!
